Find out which courses your employer will actually reimburse.

StipendSmart helps you pick courses and certifications employers commonly approve for tuition & professional-development reimbursement — and we pay you cash back just for signing up through our links.

Here's how the cash back actually works:

  1. Your employer reimburses you — say, $1,000 for an approved course.
  2. The learning platform pays StipendSmart a referral commission for sending you there — say, $300.
  3. We send $150 of that straight back to you — just for enrolling through our link.

How It Works

1

Find a course likely to get approved

Browse courses and certifications ranked by how commonly employers approve them for reimbursement, organized by industry and role.

2

Enroll through our link

Sign up for the course through StipendSmart — same price as going direct, but it's how we (and eventually you) get paid.

3

Submit it to your employer

Use your employer's normal tuition or professional-development reimbursement process. We'll show you what that typically looks like.

4

Get your cash back

Once your enrollment is confirmed, we share part of our referral commission back with you — real cash, not points or credits.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is StipendSmart actually free?

Yes. StipendSmart is free to use. We earn a referral commission when you sign up for a course through our links, and we share part of that with you — that's the whole business model, in the open.

How do you decide what's reimbursable?

We're building out data on which courses and certifications employers most commonly approve, organized by industry and role. More detail on our methodology is coming soon.

How do I actually receive my cash back?

Once affiliate tracking and payouts are fully set up, we'll pay you (e.g. via PayPal) after your enrollment through our link is confirmed by the platform. Details will be posted here before launch.

Do you work with my employer?

No — StipendSmart is independent of your employer. You'll still need to check your own company's tuition or professional-development policy; we just help you find courses likely to qualify.
